It’s pretty much a known fact that Thanksgiving Day is on everyone’s list of top five favorite holidays. I mean, why wouldn’t it be? There is so much food. Literally more than you could ever wish for. If you’re a non-believer of this being one of the best holidays, you definitely need to step back and appreciate awesome food featured at this holiday, especially those awesome Thanksgiving leftovers.

We all love our traditional Thanksgivings and the amazing meal that magically appears before our starving eyes on the dinner table, but the massive amount of leftovers the day after is what keeps us from living that dreaded post holiday depression. You know the kind I’m talking about, where you have to go back to reality and come upon this realization…

So, in order to put those leftovers to good use, here’s an extremely general recipe to create a perfectly delicious sandwich. This way you can add as much or as little of something as you’d like!

However, I suggest refraining from bringing your sandwich to work. Failure to obey just may result in your sandwich being partially eaten and thrown away.

Ross Geller's Ideal Thanksgiving Leftovers Sandwich

  • Prep Time:It'll be done in no time
  • Cook Time:You cooked all the ingredients on Thanksgiving!
  • Total Time:10 minutes tops
  • Servings:1
  • Easy

    Ingredients

  • All your favorite foods from the Thanksgiving dinner table
  • Step 1

Start off with lightly toasting two pieces of bread. Simple enough, right?

  • Step 2

After taking your bread out of the toaster, spread some cranberry sauce all over both of those slices. But you better not use that canned stuff!

  • Step 3

Take a bunch of sliced turkey and just load it all on that cranberry- covered bread.

  • Step 4

Add some green beans right on top of your turkey (or not if you don’t want at least a little bit of a healthy-ish aspect to this sandwich).

  • Step 5

Now for the most important step, cram as much stuffing between those slices as you possibly can.

  • Step 6

And… Voila! You get the delectable work of art that is the Thanksgiving leftovers sandwich. *Pro-Tip* If sweet potatoes were at the dinner table, find some room in that sammich and get it in there.
