Lula, a restaurant and micro-distillery, is located on St. Charles in the lower garden district. This restaurant was born out of a love for cooking and crafty cocktails. The Louisiana Southern eatery serves classic dishes, such as Crawfish Mac and Cheese, and inventive plates, like Blackberry Glazed Ribs. All of their dishes are under $30, proving to be a pretty friendly option for college students looking to celebrate a birthday. Along with their costs, Lula is a stop on the streetcar line, providing easy transportation. The building itself makes the guests feel at home, as the wooden roof creates a cozy, rustic ambiance. Lousiana's first restaurant distillery is an excellent choice for your birthday festivities.
