Attention all Union foodies…yes, we know you’re out there. Union’s SpoonU chapter is currently accepting applications for writers, photographers, editors, and videographers.
Spoon is a perfect resume builder for anyone who wants a career in writing, editorial or even the food industry. All writers have the opportunity to be published on our local site and the national site (and become famous!). Seriously, Buzzfeed, YahooFood, USA Today College, and Huffington Post could feature your articles on their sites.
Each month we hold food related events. In the past we had a fabulous toast bar at MEDLIFE’s Healthy Harvest Festival, which you can learn about here.

We even host yummy events exclusively for Spoon writers and yes, there is always food. Check out this amazing ramen party we hosted. Yes that is right, we had a build your own ramen bar made by one of our writers.
Lets be real, if you’re reading this, you are a foodie. SpoonU Union will introduce you to a community of people who are just as obsessed with avocado toast and sushi burritos, as you are. Apply now and you will be become the ultimate food connoisseur of your friend group. And, we can assure you that we are all just as infatuated with getting that perfect Instagram worthy food pic as you are.
Everything considered, the main activity of SpoonU Union is eating, and if that doesn’t excite you, we don’t know what will.
