Simply Lemonade is getting a boozy boost, just in time for summer: Coca-Cola and Molson Coors are coming together to release Simply Spiked Lemonade. The popular fruit juices will be the latest beverage from Coca-Cola to get an alcoholic adaptation.

"Simply is known for its bold flavor and real fruit juice and there's a great opportunity to create a new brand (in the alcohol aisle)," Molson's Chief Marketing Officer Michelle St. Jacques said to CNN Business in an exclusive interview. The exact release date is not yet available.

Simply Spiked Lemonade will come in a variety pack of 12 slim cans with four flavors: classic lemonade, strawberry lemonade, blueberry lemonade, and watermelon lemonade. All 170-calorie varieties of Simply Spiked Lemonade contain 5% alcohol by volume — a low enough ABV to make it eligible for purchase at grocery stores in many states. Simply Spiked will also be sold as standalone 24-ounce cans.
