Campbell's has been around for a long time, 148 years to be exact. They know a thing or two about soup, but they also have some tasty and easy casserole recipes that use some of their classic condensed soups. Casseroles themselves are easy to make because you can quickly throw things together, bake it and call it a casserole.

For college students, casseroles are great during the week because not only are they easy to make, but they also make a lot of portions. This means leftovers. For me, leftovers are my staple. I try to make a lot of food in the beginning of the week so later in the week I can use my beloved microwave. These Campbell's casserole recipes will definitely provide leftovers and may even satisfy some cravings.

Another plus about these casserole recipes is that they're easy on the wallet. Be sure to check your usual grocery store for any Campbell's or canned soup coupons. Or go straight to Campbell's website to print coupons.

This recipe is one I often make and not only does it make the most amazing rice, it also makes good leftovers. I don't quite follow the Campbell's recipe. My grandmother changed it when she would make her family dinners. Instead of chicken breasts, we use thighs with the skin on because the skin will get crispy in the oven. Use 1 1/2 cups rice and 3 cans of condensed soup, we use mushroom, chicken and celery instead of just one can of mushroom. Bake it at 350 for two hours. It definitely takes longer than the original recipe, but it will not disappoint anyone.

2. Classic Green Bean Casserole

This is the famous green bean casserole that makes its yearly appearance at Thanksgiving. It's really easy to make and it's also a tasty vegetarian option. This casserole can be eaten as a main dish or a nice side dish. Another thing I like about this casserole recipe is that you don't have to dirty a lot of dishes to make it. You can mix all the ingredients in the dish you are going to bake the casserole in.

3. One-Dish Chicken and Stuffing Bake

For those of you who wish Thanksgiving was all year round because turkey, duh, then this casserole is for you. It is a lot easier to make than a whole roast turkey with stuffing and it's better on your wallet.

Another vegetarian and easy option is this casserole with a three step process and a 30 minute bake time. You can eat it as it is, or make it a side to a plethora of dishes, like chicken, or steak or even a pork roast. Adding it to a bowl of rice or noodles would also make a tasty addition. This dish is not expensive to make and you can make it in under an hour.

If you're homesick for a home cooked meal, this is the casserole for you. It will create awesome leftovers for the week and satisfy your dinner appetite. With a bake time of only 25 minutes, this is an easy casserole to fix under an hour that will yield a hearty meal. It's great for dorm cooking because of it's fast bake time. Ditch the dining hall and grab some of your friends to cook up this casserole for a memorable and fun meal.

You may not have considered Campbell's Casseroles to do an option for your dinner needs in the past, but hopefully this list has changed your mind. Go ahead, give your favorite one a try!
