For some people, Panera Bread is a habit, for others, it's a guilty pleasure, and for a rare few, it's a place to avoid at all costs. Regardless of what your stance is on Panera, I'm sure that we can all agree on one thing: bread is great. And twice the bread? Even greater. Like most fast food chains, Panera tests its products at select locations before releasing them nationwide. One of these products currently in the testing phase is the brand new double bread bowl, something I never knew I wanted, but always needed.

What is it?

As this is still an unreleased product that hasn't even been shown to its test subjects yet, we have very little info about it. What we do know is that the double bread bowl will use an entire loaf of bread as its base and have two cutouts instead of the standard one. With one more hole to fill than usual, you'll be able to experiment with Panera's menu like never before (that sounds dirtier than I meant it to).

Where you can find it

Here's the bad news: During the testing phase of the new double bread bowl, you'll only be able to find it in Philadelphia. That's right, the rest of us will have to live without this magnificent creation for the time being. However, if you'd like to support the double bread bowl and help it get to locations across the United States, here's what you can do. From Aug. 5 to Aug. 31, the double bread bowl will be available at participating Panera locations across Philly. If enough people wind up trying it during this limited release, it might move out of the testing phase. So come on, help the rest of us out and take a big bite out of Panera's new double bread bowl.
