Due to the recent Covid-19 outbreak, I've been stuck at home with nothing to do. Unfortunately, boredom and eating usually come hand in hand for me, so whenever I'm not busy, I'm usually munching away. Because of my lousy eating habits, I've picked up on some quick and easy recipes to make for myself during the long days in quarantine. As I was scrolling through tiktok, I found a recipe that I knew I had to try, banana bread in a mug! Personally, I've always been a huge fan of banana bread, so when I found out I can make it inside of a mug without the long wait, I was thrilled to try it. So, if you're like me or simply don't have all the ingredients right now to make a yummy snack, enjoy this super simple and delicious banana bread mug cake recipe

Banana Bread Mug

    Ingredients

  • Cooking spray
  • 1 ripe banana
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tbsp almond milk
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 3 tbsp flour
  • Sprinkle cinnamon
  • How ever many chocolate chips you desire
  • Step 1

    Spray a microwave-safe mug with cooking spray.

  • Step 2

    Mash the bananas in a mug with a masher until you get a gooey consistency.

  • Step 3

    Whisk the eggs in with the bananas until the ingredients are completely combined.

  • Step 4

    Add almond milk, flour, and olive oil. Mix until you form a batter.

  • Step 5

    Add chocolate chips

  • Step 6

    Heat in microwave for 2-3 minutes.

    Let cool. Sprinkle with cinnamon.
