Here at Kansas State University you cannot go hungry on campus. We have four Radina's coffee shops, a student union full of amazing options and now we have a new place for food on the K-State campus. If you do not venture off to the east side of campus, then you may not know about it!

Lacy's Fresh Fare and Catering is located in the Hoffman Lounge, Justin Hall. The construction was finished in the Fall of 2017 and just recently opened for lunch time hours this semester. They are open Tuesday-Friday 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. They have a student-friendly priced menu as well. They have sandwiches, soups and salads, along with drinks, and sides like french fries, pasta salad and fruit. It wouldn't be a balanced lunch with out a cookie, brownie or cinnamon roll which they make fresh as well.

One thing that you may not know is that this kitchen is for Hospitality Management students in the food service track. They use the kitchen as a lab to gain hands on experience with daily food service responsibilities like proper sanitation and management. They forecast sales and make production sheets too. These students get to have a taste of what their future holds in the restaurant industry. To add a little bit of a K-State touch they try and hand deliver their catering orders if it is during their class time.

This is the perfect spot to meet up with your friends and take a break during the stress of finals week or if you have just been lazy about grocery shopping and need a quick bite to eat. So, get on down to Justin Hall and support your fellow K-State students trying to get an education.
