As an avid lover of everything Trader Joe's, I was super excited to try and rate some of their holiday treats. Before I get into the ratings, I will be rating each treat out of 10, with 10 being the best and zero being the worst (I don't think anything from Trader Joe's could get a zero). Hopefully, these snacks will get you in the holiday mood, especially during this socially-distant holiday season. Let's check out some of these Trader Joe's holiday treats!

1. Nog Protein Beverage Smoothie

Jules Einhorn

I found this shake to be a very creamy protein shake with a notable cinnamon flavor. I would compare this to an iced chai tea latte from Starbucks. This smoothie was deceiving—the first sip was good, but it left an unpleasant aftertaste. I was not a lover of this drink, but I can definitely see how people would enjoy this. Not great, but not horrible.

2. Mini Gingerbread People

Jules Einhorn

I really enjoyed the crunch to these gingerbread cookies  I also found them to be very festive. They had a great balance between a strong ginger flavor and the sweetness of the cookie. The frosting made them even better. Definitely add them to your cart!

3. Peppermint Joe-Joe's

Jules Einhorn

As most of you TJ's lovers probably know, "Joe-Joe's" are their version of Oreo cookies. I really enjoyed the candy cane crystals that were mixed in with the cream. They were a great twist to the already amazing "Joe-Joe's." All of the ingredients blend together so well, making this treat another must-add to the basket.

4. Scandinavian Tidings

Jules Einhorn

I know what you're probably thinking—they're just gummy snacks. They may be, but they have a delicious taste and get you in the holiday spirit. Each gummy is in the shape of a star, a Christmas tree, or an ornament. The star-shaped gummy was my favorite. They make for a great snack while enjoying your favorite holiday movie.

5. Peppermint Pretzel Thins

Jules Einhorn

I love pretzels with frosting, but the addition of the crushed peppermint is awesome. The combination of the crunchy pretzel, the freshness of the peppermint, and the deliciousness of the vanilla frosting is the perfect mix. These are a must-buy.

6. Potato Pancakes

Jules Einhorn

Trader Joe's "Potato Pancakes" are a delicious Jewish classic and are a great way to celebrate Hanukkah. While they may not be as good as your bubbie's latkes, they can certainly do the trick! They have a great crunch on the outside and a fluffy potato filling on the inside. They will be the perfect addition to your celebration. Insider Tip: They taste even better with a side of sour cream (I know it sounds weird) or apple sauce.

These are my rankings for some of the holiday treats this season from Trader Joe's, and I hope you all get to enjoy them. Have a happy holiday season!
