Exciting things are brewing in the University of Central Florida dining scene. We're getting a Steak N' Shake and a Panda Express, and best of all, Foxtail Coffee Co. is moving into the bookstore!

If your lips haven't yet been graced by the renowned drinks from this Orlando coffee mecca, let me fill you in. The coffee company has several locations in Orlando, Winter Park, and Altamonte Springs. You may have also spotted their signature cold brew on tap at eateries like 3 Natives. Foxtail prides itself on brewing only fair-trade, environmentally-conscious coffee, so you know it's a good cup of joe inside and out.

Aside from the typical espresso drinks like macchiatos, lattes, and cappuccinos, the Foxtail Coffee bars serve up matcha and chai tea lattes, hot chocolate for the kids (and kids at heart), and their cold brew in a variety of flavors like Coconut Mocha. They have plant-based milk options available, so everyone can get their caffeine fix in their shops.

Although the shop will be among 6 other UCF coffee spots, the rustic, hyper-local feel and unique menu offerings will definitely set Foxtail apart.

The Foxtail Cafe in the bookstore will also offer food sourced from local partners so that you don't have to choose between breakfast and coffee (sorry, iced coffee doesn't count as a balanced meal).

The coffee shop will open its doors in August, just in time for the fall semester. Be sure to pop in and cool off from the sweltering Florida heat with a glass of cold brew.  I guarantee you'll never want to study anywhere else.

If you need me this fall,  you know where to find me.
