If you haven’t already heard of Joyrun, it's time to tune in and get hungry.

We've all been there. You're sitting in your door room studying.  Suddenly, a massive craving hits, but you have no way of getting food.

Oh, the PAIN..

Don't worry, though. That's where Joyrun comes in.

Joyrun is the delivery app at Binghamton University that’s going viral. You may have received a coupon for it under your door, or maybe you heard of it from your roommate who got $0.50 Chicken Nuggets (yes, for real). You may even have a friend who got a sweet side job as a Joyrun runner.

What began as a startup based in Silicon Valley has made it’s way all the way from California to the East Coast, and for good reason. More and more students, on campuses across the country, have been using the app because of how easy and affordable it is.

Run by students, for students, Joyrun has become a community platform that is changing the way students interact, work, and eat. Whether you want to order some food or be the one to deliver it, the choice is yours. It works both ways: you can request an order from any nearby restaurant on the app or deliver food to another Binghamton student as a runner

Here's the thing that most people don't realize -   the app isn't limited to just food. Joyrun runners will deliver anything you need, whether it's tacos, coffee, a binder, or even makeup!

Joyrun is all of your dreams come true, and here’s how it works.

On the app, a feed (kind of like the one on Instagram) will show you which students are ordering and which are delivering. Deliveries are called "runs." You can jump on a pre-existing run or you can request a new run and another student will pick up your order. The app works so that you can chat directly with the runner to make sure that you get exactly what you need.

You can get pretty much have anything delivered to your room, wherever you are. Whether you live on or off campus, it ain't no thing but a chicken wing, and you can totally order those, too. From Newing or Dickinson to UClub or Hawley, Joyrun runners will deliver to anywhere.

Personally, Joyrun has saved me a couple bucks and minutes. It's brought me Chipotle to Bartle while in the middle of some late night studying, and it's even delivered an umbrella to my dorm once in the middle of a rainstorm. The proof is in the Snapchat.

From time to time, you can also get some sweet deals on the app. Promos like $0.50 Chicken Nuggets from Mcdonald's or $2 Burritos from Chipotle are sure to get anyone excited!

If you are a new user, you can also get $5 off your first order. Just use the promo code: JR5.

So, the next time you're sitting in your room or stuck studying in the library and find yourself in need of some Taco Bell or even an umbrella, just Joyrun it.  And, if you want to make a little cash, go on a run and become somebody's hero. #JOYRUNstheworld
