Many say every day is a new day. As a college student, this saying couldn't be more true. Each and every day you meet a new person, figure out the best places to study and most importantly, learn how to multi-task.

With time being of the essence, it is important that you take a second to figure out what will lead you to the greatest success, since each week consists of studying, socializing and more studying. At the University of Central Florida, it can tend to be tricky and time-consuming to figure out how to do everything at once, which is why I have a few tips to offer.

1. Don't Forget to Fuel Your Study Session

As we are studying away at either All Knight Study, the Student Union, the library or an empty classroom, us college students can tend to forget that staying hydrated and eating is something we need to do to survive. Luckily, UCF has plenty of dining options.

The student union has endless amounts of food places that are quick, easy and offer good eats to-go. Qdoba, Boar's Head Sandwiches and Smoothie King are just a few places that UCF has to offer. But since these options may be far from your studying destination, ordering food for delivery can be a lifesaver. Delivery Dudes, Uber Eats and Jimmy John's all deliver right to your doorstep, allowing you to stay focused while also having a satisfied stomach.

2. Find a Place Where You Can Multi-Task

A popular spot that allows you to study, eat and get some caffeine in your system is the on-campus Starbucks located next to Memory Mall. This location has many tables that allow you to sit down and do homework and at the same time enjoy a nice refreshing drink that you will probably need after walking there in the boiling Florida heat. The best part about this Starbucks is that they allow you to online order, which can be helpful when the line is out the door and you are trying to not lose any precious study time.

3. Don't Forget to Have Some "Me" Time

Another way to balance all of your responsibilities without having a mental breakdown is to take time for yourself. This may be hard for many since we all program ourselves to believe that studying for hours on end is the best way to do well, but that isn't always true. When you take time to either go to the gym, take a nap or hang out with friends between all of the hours you have been studying, it will benefit you in many ways.

Most importantly, it will prevent the tears that will start to form as you spend endless hours sitting in the cold, silent library. Not only that, but it will make you feel more productive, which is something we usually only associate with school work.

Though we may tend to slack off at times and would almost always prefer taking a nap over going to the gym, we need to remember what is best for ourselves to keep ourselves mentally and physically healthy before a big exam or a project is due. To be successful in school, you must learn how to manage school and you all at the same time.

Take this information and use it to the best of your ability. I know that personally, doing these few things has been more than beneficial in my two years as a student at the University of Central Florida.
