Cheez-Its are undeniably one of the most iconic childhood snacks. Cheez-It Puff'd, though? It’s basically perfection reinvented. It’s cheesier, it’s fluffier, and it’s tinier! What more could you ask for?
This brand new line of Cheez-It goodies features three fan-favorite flavors: Double Cheese, White Cheddar, and Scorchin’ Hot Cheddar. The familiar Cheez-It cracker is taking a new form with Cheez-It Puff’d: a unique, puffy, and airy snack baked with 100% real cheese. As a new and different take on real cheese snacks, it will easily become a fan and family favorite.
Double Cheese
Firstly, we have the Double Cheese flavor. This particular flavor of Cheez-It Puff’d was exactly how we imagined a fluffy original Cheez-It would taste like: a dream. These little pillows of goodness are PACKED with the cheddar flavor we know and love. Featuring a lovely crispy texture on the outside and a light and airy texture on the inside, these Puff’d snacks are absolutely irresistible. With a sharp and natural cheddar taste, the Double Cheese Cheez-It Puff’d is perfectly savory and would undoubtedly satisfy any cravings you have for a cheesy snack. In fact, we can confidently say that the Cheez-It Puff’d is the type of snack 10-year-old me wished for but never had. For the OG Cheez-It fans, these are certainly a must-try. Double Cheese Cheez-It Puff’d will forever be on our grocery lists!
White Cheddar
Moving onto the White Cheddar flavor, these Puff’d Cheez-Its are oddly refreshing compared to the Double Cheese flavor. While the original crunchy white cheddar Cheez-Its offers a blast of flavor, these little squares exhibit a more mild taste. Nonetheless, these melt-in-your-mouth pieces of goodness still have the iconic smooth cheesy flavor that permeates throughout. Partnered with the Double Cheese Cheez-It Puff’d, the White Cheddar puffs create the perfect balance. In fact, it’s just the right amount of white cheddary goodness that’ll make snacking so much more fun!
Scorchin’ Hot Cheddar
Need a little extra kick to your day? These all-too-addicting little pillows surprisingly pack a fiery punch of hotness that could give you all the excitement you would need in a day. As someone who can’t resist adding some extra spice in my life, the Scorchin’ Hot Cheddar puffs make it incredibly difficult to not finish an entire bag in one sitting. Given the perfect bite-sized puffs and their delectable flavor, we could see these being immensely popular at parties and get-togethers. If you love cheesy flavors but need a little extra intensity, this perfect Cheez-It creation was made for you.
Overall, these tiny squares immediately proved to be an instant classic. We could easily imagine our younger selves munching on these fluffy, cheesy bites while watching our favorite TV shows or these puffed snacks being the family favorite on a road trip.
While it was incredibly difficult to rank the flavors, we would put the classic Double Cheese first, closely followed by the Scorchin’ Hot Cheddar, and lastly, the White Cheddar flavor. Regardless, all three flavors offer a well-balanced variety that anybody looking for a delicious snack would enjoy. For us, we can attest to the fact that the Cheez-It Puff’d is making its way to being one of our go-to snacks that we could enjoy anywhere, any time.
